Newcastle is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Placer County, California. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, 8 miles northeast of Rocklin and 31 miles northeast of Sacramento, it has a population of only 1,224 people which is the reason for its small town charm. The town’s slogan says it all “Gem of the Foothills”! The residents believe this represents the spirit and treasures of their unique community!
The infamous and unforgettable Valencia Club always has live music and a fun, friendly “everybody knows your name” atmosphere. With great food, karaoke, dancing and so much more, it’s no wonder the locals come here to kick back, relax and dance their heels off! But if you’re the outdoor type, you’ll love the nearby hiking trails that will land you at the majesttic Hidden Falls. Or venture off to explore the radiance of the falls at Lake Clementine! There are trails for the experienced hiker as well as the faint of heart…no matter what, you’ll be stunned by the beauty you’re surrounded by.
This quiet little town of Newcastle prides itself on the fresh produce that it’s known for! The family friendly country setting and the safety and security of knowing all your neighbors makes this a perfect place to settle down and call home.
